logo1. GENERAL METHODS AND PARTICIPATION
The Ventoux Master series. The Day of Records will begin on Saturday May 12 at 8:00 AM and will finish Sunday May 13 at 8:00 AM. The objective of the day is to provide an opportunity to both licensed and unlicensed cyclists at all levels to earn a certificate of validation for an exceptional athletic performance constituting at least 5 climbs of Mount Ventoux within the 24 hours of the Day of Records.
Participation in the Day of Records is open to everyone. Each participant must make his attempts under his own responsibility, at his own pace, with or without personal assistance.

2. ATHLETIC ASPECTS :
Each participant in the Day of Records will be referenced by a prior enrollment and will present himself, according to his choice, to one of the three starting points for the climbs.
(Bedoin/Malaucène/Sault).
After his registration at the first departure point in Bedoin, his starting time will be recorded as will his finishing time when he arrives at the timing station situated on the summit at the height of the observatory.
The participant has the right to all the assistance he feels will be helpful, including sport drinks, a personal vehicle, or other support.
As a matter of principle, the organizer of the Ventoux Master series has confidence in the athletic integrity of all particpants, so that all thought of athletic fraud in the times of the climbs is completely excluded
All that really matters are the times for the successive climbs of Mount Ventoux, therefore the participant can ride back down, but he can also get a ride back down from his support team, so that he can rest and recharge as he chooses. All that really matters is that he register at a starting line and also at the finishing line at the summit.

3. SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZER :

The organizer will provide each participant with a personal record of the times of each of his climbs during the Day of Records, and those who complete 5 or more climbs will also be presented with an official certificate attesting to his achievement as a Mount Ventoux Master.
3 or 4 climbs and the official certificate 'll be Mount Ventoux Expert
1 or 2 climbs, the diploma 'll be Mount Ventoux Challenger

A buffet with refreshments and energy products will be available for all participants at the summit of Mount Ventoux close to the timing stand.
Super breakfast for all the Masters, Experts and Challengers at 8.30 A.M in Bedoin (Bedoin Location).
Supplies for the road and for the care of the athlete are the exclusive responsibility of the participant. The organizer will not provide a repair service, but basic repair material will be available at the summit, close to the timing stand.

4. SECURITY AND GARANTEES :
Each participant enrolling in the Day of Records will be understood to have understood the rules and to have signed an acknowledgement of this understanding.
He will make his attempts with the utmost respect for the rules of the road and will make sure that his support vehicle also respects these rules.
The participant affirms that he has personal insurance covering whatever damages might arise in relationship to a third party and his possible responsibility.
Neither the organizer, his team, nor his partners will be held responsible for any kind of physical failure in the participant or for any related problems. The organizer’s R.C. insurance will cover all possible damages that might arise in terms of the technical and logistical organization of the Day of Records.
